KPB Land Bridge LLC is an intermodal carrier with warehouses conveniently located in the La Porte/Pasadena/
Deer Park areas for quick access to empty depots around the Houston area ports.
KPB currently owns 300+ company chassis including 20’ & 40’ lightweight chassis, tri-axles, 20’/40’ combos, and 40’ straight chassis.

Drivers are expected to arrive ready to work between 6:30 – 7:00 am, Monday thru Friday.

Drivers are expected to complete pre-trip inspections, recording results, and notify dispatch of any defects.

It is the driver’s responsibility to thoroughly read their dispatch, paying close attention to all detail.

Drivers are required to take photos using cell phone or tablet cameras to ensure the accuracy of all information entered into our web-based dispatch system.

Drivers will be responsible for deliveries to local ports.

Drivers must comply with company policies and all Federal and State DOT regulations.

Drivers will perform drayage of full and empty containers between Ports of Houston, local warehouses, and/or rail terminals.

Drivers will be responsible of collection and return of container chassis.

Drivers will be responsible for securing containers on chassis.

Drivers must be able to work outside in variable weather conditions.
Requirements

21 Years of age or older
-
Valid CDL Class A license in your state of residence

1 year driving experience preferred
-
Must successfully pass a pre-placement drug screen

TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) required
-
Fewer than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
-
Fewer than 1 preventable accident within the last 3 years
-
Verifiable work history for the past 10 years
-
Motor Vehicle Record-
-
No DUI/DWI within prior 10 years
-
No more than 2 moving violations in the prior 24 months
-
No excessive speeding violations (More than 10% above posted speed in a CMV)
